Dr. med. Florian T. A. Kretz, FEBO

Dr. Kretz is an international well recognized Ophthalmologist, surgeon, scientist and lecturer. His patients enjoys access to the latest and most advanced technologies within cataract surgery in which field he is a world KOL and has contributed significantly to improve the surgical methodologies for more successful outcomes.

He is also a skilled surgeon in different solutions of treatment of refractive surgery, glaucoma and macular diseases.

Dr. Kretz has been the Principal Investigator and Coordinating Investigator on numerous clinical trials and serves also on advisory boards.

Dr. Kretz is a Fellow of the European Board of Ophthalmology and advisor and research coordinator of the International Vision Correction and Research Center Network (IVCRC.net).

He is lecturer at the University of Heidelberg and has authored and co-authored more than 100 scientific papers. He serves as invited speaker at international scientific conferences and meetings.

Dr. Kretz is since 2017 among the 50 most important researchers in ophthalmology worldwide and since 2018 also considered to be among the 100 most influential ophthalmologists globally.
